After receiving 2 trout plants on Friday the 3rd of February, Trout have been biting very well throughout the marina on various baits like different spinners and tubes during the day and also sinking nightcrawlers and natural colored power baits as well.
Bass have been biting well on slower presentations with the colder conditions like jigs and senkos or drop shotting nightcrawlers and roboworms around structures have also been paying off. Deeper diving crank baits and jerk baits have been getting bit off steeper walls and points extending off the coves, along with paddle tail baits and glide baits.
Stripers have been biting on the troll lately either deeper diving jerk baits or heavy kastmasters along with drifting chunks of cut bait down in deeper water weightless to also come across schools of stripers around the lake.
Water temperature: 58 degrees

Pyramid Lake, CACatfish have been biting very well off various cut baits from sandy banks or from the canal by the entrance booth from the shoreline with a heavy sinker to endure to current. Bass have been biting pretty well despite the dirtier water conditions over the past couple of weeks since the most recent storms. Anglers have had luck using glide baits, chatterbaits and various soft plastics throughout the day like roboworms or senkos and jigs around structures and steeper walls or rocky cliffs, working their baits very slowly with the colder water conditions.
