A very nice start to our Brown 4-day. Fast paced yellowtail action that lasted into the dark. Also picked up a wahoo, a tuna, and lots of marlin(all released). El Niño 2026 is here.

With heavy weekend boat traffic sea lions and lack of bait we managed to make a day out of it . 1 shot at quality yellowtail with mixed bass bonito and lots of taco meat summed up our day .

Just 6 Rockfish short of Full Limits for over 100 anglers today on a little bit of a choppy ocean.  We're still giving 'em a shave and a haircut for all our clients which is knocking them out humanely and giving

Picking away at some more quality Yellowtail with a decent amount of Bluefin in the mix.   Biggest problem is the large sardine / mackerel mix we have for bait, but making the best of it.

We departed yesterday morning on our annual Direct AV 7-day trip. We've been traveling south while getting everyone on board fully rigged and ready to target yellowtail, yellowfin, dorado, and wahoo. We will be working our way down the line,
