Yesterday, the tuna were playing hide-and-seek, but today they're back on the menu! We're enjoying some nice fish coming over the rail.

Good fishing on both Wahoo and beautiful grade Yellowfin. The grade of this Yellowfin is absolutely impressive with most of them being 120-160#s.

TROUT DERBY UPDATE!! So far 56 out of the first 100 tagged trout have been caught in the first 18 days of the derby, that’s an average of just over 3 tagged trout caught per day! That also means 44 tagged

We’re excited to share that starting this Thursday, we're expecting calmer ocean conditions for about a week. This is a great opportunity to get out on the water and take advantage of these rare calmer seas.  The Winter Lingcod and Rockfish Bite

There are still pockets of open water throughout the reservoir, and existing ice should be considered unsafe at this time. There is limited shoreline access near the boat ramp and in the coves.

The pond is frozen over for now, I’ll get out there later in the Winter to check on the ice conditions and pass that info on.

The morning started off with Dean catching his second COW of the trip. Way to go Dean! Team Hoo spent the afternoon smashing the wahoo. A great day to be on the BIG X!
