Captain Greg Obymako called in this evening with an update from the Pacific Quest out of Pierpoint Landing in Long Beach, CA. Today we had 12 anglers catch 66 Yellowtail, 4 Calico Bass and 1 Blue Perch. We caught most of the Yellows before 8:30 AM. We search for Seabass and saw some sign but most the beaches were filled because of the tournament that was going on today.
We do have a spot for Monday and some spots of our Bluefin Trip on Tuesday plus Wednesday is wide open.

Capt Greg checked in from the Pacific Quest with a trip wrap up, we had some decent rockfishing today and ended with 60 - 70 Rockfish, couple Lingcod, some Sheephead and White Fish. We also had 21 Calico Bass and 1 Yellowtail, we hooked 6 Yellowtail but 5 were lost to these sealions. Later in the day we found some of the smaller grade Yellowtail but we did not put in much effort as the sealions were surrounding...... Read More
