Captain Jeff Spafford on the Outrider out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA called in a wrap up report for 2.5 Day charter.
Day 1 of the charter was good, we had really nice weather but couldn’t get a good drift going. We managed to put 10 on the boat up to 80 pounds.
Starting off on Day 2 we moved to a different area where there was a great sign of fish and we got on a school of Bluefin around 8:30 this morning and managed to put quite a few on the boat. We finished the trip with limits of Bluefin Tuna for the 10 passengers on boat. Todays fish were anywhere from 12 to 40 pounds. Very manageable fish and fun to catch.
