Captain Jeff Spafford on the Outrider out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA called in with with us today.

Calling in a wrap up report from our 1.5 Day fishing adventure. We started off the trip with heading out to the backside of Clemente. Picked off 2-3 in the morning and decided to move and got into a real good bite in the afternoon. These schools are really mixed 25-100 plus pounders in the school.

We boated 15 tuna in the 25-30 and 60-70 pound range. We also had some nice size Yellowfin in the mix 30-50 pounds, real big mean fish.  We suffered a lot of casualties today though.

We do have some upcoming trips. Next open 1.5 Day trips leave Sunday, September 13th and Tuesday, September 15th at 8 PM.
