DORADO! DORADO! DORADO! All sizes males, females, ranging from 10-40
lbs., in numbers that kept all of the boat fishing at the buoys this
past week. Most of the boats had easy limit fishing and many
releases, too. The entire fish count reflected dorado catches for
all boats for the total of 9 fishing days.
Mazatlan Climate: Partly cloudy days with temps from 71 nights to 93
daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Mostly calm and flat, with temps at 84-85 degrees.
Best Bait/Lure: Everything was working well, from live bait to cut
bait, rapalos, feathers, strip bait, etc.
Best Fishing Area: Right at the shark buoys at about 18 miles from
the Marina.

We just received the following fishing report from the Marina El Cid at Puerto Morelos and it actually reflected some better than average fishing for some of the anglers this past week. They reported in for 14 days fished that reflected 10 sailfish, 13 dorado, 3 barracuda, 1 wahoo, 3 king mackerel, 1 tuna, 2 bonito 1 amberjack and 4 red snappers.
