Captain Jeff Spafford on the Outrider out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA called in with with us today.
Calling in a wrap up report from our 1.5 Day trip. We got on a drift very close to home around 6AM and drifted it out till about 11 AM.We hooked 28-30 fish, all in that 25-40 pound grade. We ended up landing 13 fish for our morning drift and got on a drift later in the afternoon and picked some more. We ended up with 17 BluefinTuna in the 25-40 pound range. Little short of limits, some guys weren’t feeling well and we had some novice onboard who got it together by the end of the trip.
Overall a great trip and a whole lot of fun.
