The water temperature is back into the mid to upper 70s, cooling from the mid-80s (which is typical for summer). The lake is still busy with boaters enjoying the last of summer weather. Nighttime air temps have been dropping into the upper 60s making for comfortable camping weather. Extreme rainstorms often materialize at Lake Powell this time of year, be sure to keep a close watch on the storms and be prepared to get your boat to shore or off the lake before these storms arrive.
