Cachuma bite is still strong in the end of this summer

Water Temperature: 71 degrees

Cachuma bite is still strong in the end of this summer. The crappie are biting on crappie jigs white and green. Also biting on crappie nibles. The bass bite is picking up with bass being caught in coves around 20 feet using flukes and swimbaits. Trout are biting on nightcrawlers and powerbait. Catfish are being caught on mackerel and also magic bait sold in the tackle shop.

Water Temperature:71 degrees Summer bite is still here!! A whopping 10.14 pound bass caught this week along with four 6+ pounders along the shelves and in the coves. Topwater bite is going off for bass as well if you can make the morning trip happen! Trout being caught in the early mornings by the dam using deep diving rapalas and drifting worms at 40+feet.
