The fishing for Salmon was slow today due to the wind that is blowing hard on the water. There were a few boats who tried fishing near the Soquel Hole and in the shallow water near Capitola. The few anglers did not get any fish and the wind made them leave around 11:00 am. There were no reports from Moss Landing or Monterey that I heard. The wind is going to drop tonight so Friday and Saturday look good to go try for the Salmon.

The wind settled down today but there is a swell building. The fishing remained the same today with a few fish being caught from the anglers who worked from Soquel Hole to Pajaro. The scores ranged from 0-1 fish in that area for the few anglers who fished today. I did not get any reports of anglers trying near Davenport. The best report came from 2 anglers who caught their limits in the mid morning near Point Joe. The anglers...... Read More
