Awesome day 1 of 2 with Ryan Cole and his guys this morning. This group of gentlemen has been coming to fish with Lyle and myself for 4 years now and is a group of friends we look forward to fishing with every year. 

It was a bit snotty when we first got out this morning with that nasty North East wind but it wasn't to uncomfortable to fish. We opted to trof the waves today and run in the ditch on a East and West troll. We set up in 18fow and it was immediately game on with Bandits 70 to 80 back at 2.2 mph. But as fast as it started our bite completely died as we made our way out into 20 to 21 FOW. Turned the boat to head back inside for 18 FOW and we had a nice steady pick going working our way to 29 by 11am. We had multiple doubles and tripples hooked up and at times it was hard to keep up with them. The drive byes and dropped fish were getting discouraging and lets not talk about the short fish we encountered and threw back as they just tore us up today, we could not keep them little suckers away, they are good to see but boy were they getting annoying lol. 

Round 2 tomorrow with this crew with what appears to be a much better wind direction/ forecast. See you fellas in the morning 😀
