The albacore were still biting 40-50 miles out from Santa Cruz. The anglers caught 12-30 albacore near the same numbers as yesterday. The wind was blowing 10 knots or so all day. The inshore anglers near Capitola caught some halibut but the kingfish are stealing the bait. The Mile Buoy are produced some nice halibut. The boats who fished up the coast caught rock fish, lingcod, and a few halibut. The shore anglers caught a mix of striped bass, perch, and halibut.
