Trout:
Trout are being caught mostly from the shoreline around Half-Moon Bay, Jump-Off Point, and the North Shore on the days immediately following a stock, and schools showing up in Hidden Bay and deeper water the longer the trout are in the water. The water levels have dropped since last month, so much more shoreline is available to fish from. Nightcrawlers, mini-jigs, mouse tails, and spoons have been fairly reliable baits catching trout.

Bass:
Bass have been eating their fill of trout on stock days, and the following days, but are still being caught with swim-baits, worms, and other standard baits. The bass are just starting to pair up and bed, so expect more activity in the coming weeks as the water begins to warm up and the water level continues to drop.

Catfish:
Catfish have been caught consistently in deep water since our last Catfish stock in September 2024. Still lots in the lake, and being caught with mackerel, dough-bait, chicken livers, etc. Throw something stinky down to the bottom and let it sit.
