The Salmon bite remains the same with a few fish being caught by the anglers who work near the Soquel Hole and near 3 Trees. The average scores ranged from 0-2 fish a boat. The Salmon were caught at 36'51/121'58 to 36'50/122'03. The fish are being caught from 70-120 feet down and there have been some Silver Salmon 10-40 feet down. The water was flat calm and the birds, bait, and whales are all over. The Salmon are around we just need them to go on the bite. The Halibut bite was decent with 2 fish reported on one boat and one on another I spoke to. The Halibut were caught in 50-65 feet of water trolling and drifting today. The angler trolling did well with the Purple Haze Kajikis. There were a few good Rockcod reports from the Natural Bridges area. The winds are expected to stay down so come try your luck.
