INPUT SOUGHT ON MT. EVANS COLORADO ELK HERD

DENVER - Colorado Parks and Wildlife is seeking public input on the future management of the Mt. Evans elk herd at three November meetings.

Herd population and composition objectives and other issues regarding elk management in Game Management Units 39, 391, 46, and 461 will be discussed.

Area wildlife managers and biologists will be on hand to answer questions and gather input to update the herd management plan.

Mt. Evans Elk Herd Open Houses:
BAILEY: Mon., Nov 18, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Platte Canyon Fire Dept., 153 Delwood Drive
DUMONT: Tues., Nov 19, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Clear Creek Fire Authority, Fire Station 1, 681 County Road 308
EVERGREEN: Wed., Nov 20, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Evergreen Fire Rescue, 1802 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen
