LANDER- The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will hold a series of information-gathering meetings in preparation for the development of the 2014 hunting seasons. Public meetings will begin at 6 p.m. in the following locations:
Game and Fish encourages the public to attend these meetings to share information, observations, and ideas with the department as it develops proposals for the 2014 hunting seasons. Such meetings have been conducted in the Lander Region for the last couple years, and Game and Fish personnel reported a "great" response from the public.
"We appreciated the feedback we received and have been able to incorporate several suggestions into the seasons," said Regional Wildlife Supervisor Jason Hunter. Attending this type of meeting is one way to learn about local wildlife populations, ask questions, and visit with local Game and Fish biologists and wardens. Please encourage those around you to get involved.
The State of Wyoming supports the Americans with Disabilities Act. Anyone requiring auxiliary aids for this meeting should contact the Game and Fish Lander Region office at: 1-800-654-7862. Every effort will be made for reasonable accommodations.
