Holmes Creek Reservoir Fish Report

Holmes Creek Reservoir - Layton, UT (Davis County)

The recent warm weather has melted the ice away from the shore, but you can cast from the shore. There's a lot of open water near and around the inlet. Use caution, because the recent storms have likely changed ice and access conditions. Please respect this privately owned pond and remember to obtain your Walk-in Access authorization number. You can also see a map of other Walk-in Access areas across Utah.

Warmer temperatures have melted the ice at Hobbs Reservoir, leaving thin and unstable ice throughout the reservoir. There is open water all around the edges. There is enough open water on the north side to cast from shore. Remember, all trout over 15 inches must be immediately released.
