The Albacore grounds are windy but there are a few boats from Half moon Bay fishing south west of the Guide. I heard it is blowing 18 knots but one has 6 fish and one had 3. The wind may stay up for a few more days. There were a few more Salmon caught on the west edge of the Soquel Hole in 220-250 feet of water. The scores are still ranging from 0-4 fish a boat. The Halibut bite was slower today but there were a few fish caught in 80-109 feet of water. There is a little Squid starting to show up in the bay so the Halibut bite should turn on any day. The Rockcod fishing was good for the anglers who worked up the coast near 4 Mile and Davenport. The water on the inside was fine all day today until the afternoon wind picked up late.
