The surf fishing has been the best bet with the swells and wind making it hard to pick your days. The Stripers have been on the bite at Manresa State beach. There are 6-12 pound fish taking Pencil Poppers, Power grubs, and Kastmasters. The surf perch derby is this Saturday so get ready. I will have live Pile Worms and Grass Shrimp ready for Saturday morning. The fishing for Crabs and Sand dabs has been the best bet here. I fished for Spanish Mackerel last week and caught over 200 of them on Ahi Sabikis. They are at the tip of the Soquel Hole down 50 feet.
