The Salmon bite ended up slower today all around the Monterey Bay. There were a few fish caught in the morning near the Monterey numbers from yesterday. The scores in Monterey were 1 fish a boat at best that I heard of. There were a few anglers who were catching some fish from the East side of the Soquel Hole to Pajaro. The best area was near Pajaro in the afternoon at 36'51/121'54 to 36'50/121'53. The fish were being caught on Green Kajikis, Krippled Anchovies, and Red Krocodiles 75-110 feet down. The bite was decent for some of the anglers from 10:00am - 1:30pm. You just have to keep working the bait balls to catch the Salmon. The water was nice in the morning but the wind did blow in the afternoon. The same conditions are expected for Monday.
