Today we to Mr. Raul Morales, sons and friends on the Gamefisher out of Ensenada.  The fishing conditions were really good.  Lots of rockfish were caught as they were really hungry and biting on everything.  We used chunk squid and mackarel bait as well as yo-yo jigging.  Captain Mike and the crew did a great job getting us on the fish as well as cleaning and packing it for us.

After our great day of fishing instead of our usual taco stand stop we had dinner at Villa Ortega in Puerto Nuevo.  Lobster, shrimp, fish and carne azada were the name of the game.  They gave us hot, freshly-made flour tortillas the size of blankets!  We enjoyed our candle-lit, patio, oceanfront table. We celebrated Raul Morales' 68th birthday here.  What a way to celebrate huh?
