Patience is a must when lake trout fishing. This fish was on our sonar for 30+ minutes before Adam finally coaxed him to bite. Deep water fish can be sluggish but many times that’s where the 38” trophy fish will be hiding. This fish weighed over 20 pounds and would meet either criteria for an Alaska State Trophy!
