This week GGFA Board members John Atkinson and Brian Magaline traveled to Coleman and Livingston Stone national fish hatcheries. They met with Paul Souza the head of US Fish and Wildlife and members of NOAA fisheries and Bureau of Reclamation. The topics were discuss proposed upgrades to the hatcheries and diversified release strategies. This has been a coordinated group effort between Northern California Water Association, Northern California Guides and Sportsmen Association, Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen Association and Golden Gate Fisherman Association.
