Ice has capped most of the reservoir down to the pipeline. Fishable ice is noted in most of the bays including areas around Buckboard and Lost Dog up to the confluence. Beware of thin and patchy ice in the main channel from Buckboard south. Fishable ice has also been noted in Linwood Bay. With ice being highly variable again this year, make sure you are frequently checking thickness as you move around. And bring a friend to help pull yourself out. Anglers should use extreme caution and be aware of best practices for ice safety. With the upcoming warm spell please be safe and vigilant. Reservoir elevation is 6,025 feet which is approximately 15 feet below full pool.
