Puerto Morelos Fish Report- The Marina El Cid, Cancun to Cozumel Area

Another interesting week's fishing from Puerto Morelos that produced an eleven fish variety in the catch reports. Bonito lead the action and was followed by the Atlantic barracuda. The overall catches for 21 days fished reflected 1 shark, 3 wahoo, 5 grouper, 2 yellowfin tuna, 3 king mackerel, 18 triggerfish, 1 amberjack, 3 dorado, 1 red snapper, 29 Atlantic barracuda and 55 bonito.

PM Climate: Partly cloudy but warm days. Temps from 68 nights to 87 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Very nice week with light surface breezes, little swell and temps that held solid at 82 degrees.

Best Bait/Lure: Continues to be the ballyhoo, both rigged and un- rigged baits.
