The fishing for Salmon was slow for the anglers who worked the Soquel Hole but there were a few fish caught near the Mile Buoy in 70 feet of water. There were some decent scores coming from Monterey near the Harbor in 250 feet of water. The anglers who fished near Scotts Creek did not have much action. The inshore action was great for anglers who worked up near 4 Mile Beach and South Rock. There were some Halibut caught trolling the B2 Bomber rig near Capitola and near the harbor in 40-60 feet of water. The wind was not bad in the morning but there was some afternoon wind.
