The fishing for Halibut fishing is still decent for the anglers who are working the area from in front of the Harbor and near Capitola. The Halibut were caught trolling the B2 Bomber rig and drifting bait in 45-70 feet of water. The wind was not bad all morning but there was the usual afternoon wind. The Salmon bite was slow but there are some fish up near Ano Nuevo but the wind is stopping the anglers from getting. The Soquel Hole was slow today but there were some fish hooked up at 36'52/122'05. The Rockcod and Lingcod fishing was good near Natural Bridges and South Rock. The best depth for Rockcod has been from 80-140 feet. The wind looks like it is going to settle down Monday.
