According to Captain Temo Verboonen, the water temps were OK, (86-87) but the water color was less than favorable and green water extended out to 10-12 miles and from there, it was just clean green water out to more than 30 miles. He reported that offshore fishing is pretty slow with a few boats landing dorado around the floating logs and debris and only an occasional sailfish or marlin in the mix. The inshore waters, even though green water persists, is experiencing big schools of sardinas that are followed by the bonito, sierra and the jack cravelle, with the fish moving around everyday. Few roosterfish this past week as the water clarity was too down sided for a sustained presence in the area. There was no rain for the week and the ocean is calm, but as in the past month or so, very few anglers on the dock.

IZ Climate: Partly cloudy days with light tropical surface breezes at 5-10 knots. Temps ranged from 72 nights to 93 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Other than water clarity deficiencies, all else remains on the positive side. Temps are 86-87 out to 40 miles or so and very light breezes and mostly calm days. Once this clarity condition improves, this are will again come alive with good action for both, inshore and offshore.
