The Salmon bite was good for the anglers who worked the area near Mulligans and in front of Moss Landing. There were some good scores at 36'49/121'51, 36'46/121'51, and 36'43/121'52. The fish were caught in 240-280 feet of water down 120-160 feet on the troll. There were some Silvers in the mix so check the gums. The scores averaged from early limits to 1-4 fish a boat. The water was calm in the morning until the wind hit around 11:30. There was one angler I spoke to who came in from Moss and found some good birds and bait at 36'50/121'56. The angler put the gear in the water and caught a double of 20 pound fish so not all the fish are in Moss Landing. There were a few Halibut caught near the Harbor drifting Anchovies today. The wind was blowing to hard in the morning to go far up the coast. It looks like Tuesday will be a better day for less wind.
