While a little slower week on charters, the fishing remained strong through the week and the anglers that elected to fish the longer days had good opportunities at sailfish. The overall catch report for a total of 18 days fished reflected 8 sailfish, 3 king mackerel, 7 blackfin tuna, 10 bonito, 4 Atlantic barracuda, 9 dorado, 1 Spanish mackerel, 6 triggerfish, 3 snapper and 7 grouper or a combined species of 10 fish.

PM Climate: Partly cloudy but warm days and evenings with temps ranging from 70 nights to 87 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Good sea temps that are holding right at 80 degrees with mostly light & variable easterly breezes and some light afternoon wind chop.

Best Bait/Lure: The ballyhoo remain the bait of choice for the captains and they are used in a variety of methods from the outriggers or down riggers and in both, skirted and multi- colors of skirted forms.

Bait Supply: The ballyhoo are caught fresh on a daily basis and supplied to all of the boats for their fishing day. We have never had a report reflecting any bait difficulty for this area.
