The Salmon bite was slow near 36'51/121'56 to 36'51/121'53 but there were a few fish caught. The fish were caught 80-120 feet down. There were some Halibut caught near Capitola and the West side of Santa Cruz. The best bet is to keep working for the Halibut and you will catch some. The Rockcod was good near Capitola in 45 feet of water. The water was nice in the morning but the wind did come up.
