The Salmon bite was good for the few anglers who ran near Davenport. I spoke to one angler who had 6 fish on including a 30 pound Salmon. The boats were fishing near 36'53/122'10 who got into the Salmon. The wind did come up but the swell was down. The Salmon were caught trolling 80-160 feet down in 300 feet of water. The anglers who fished the Soquel Hole had to deal with Jellyfish. There were a few fish caught but it was hard to fish. The Halibut fishing is still getting better with some big fish being weighed in today. It is time to start fishing for them. The Rockcod is still going good. The winds are expected to settle the next few days.

The Rockcod was good near Capitola in 45 feet of water. The water was nice in the morning but the wind did come up. ...... Read More
