The Salmon bite was the same today with a few fish being caught in the Soquel Hole. The big Salmon from the Soquel Hole won the derby as far as we know. The 3 day total went to the possible derby winners on the site as far as we know. All in all the derby was a great time even if the fishing was not wide open. I got to sneak out in the afternoon and we caught a 18 pound Halibut. There was a report of 3 Halibut being caught of 4 Mile Beach. The water was flat calm all day long and anglers who ran to Ano Nuevo were rewarded. The scores at Ano Nuevo were big Vermilion's, Blacks, and Blues along with some quality Lingcod. The weather is going to be flat for the next few days and a few anglers may go look for Albacore. We will keep you updated as always!
