Fishing has slowed for most anglers. There have been reports of anglers catching the brood stock rainbow trout that were planted a few weeks ago. Recently anglers have had success using PowerBait, artificial salmon eggs and spinners. There are lots of pelicans and double-crested cormorants at the pond. Jensen Nature Park Pond, and all other community fisheries, have a total bag limit of two fish per day. Any snagged fish (those hooked anywhere other than the mouth) must be immediately released.
