Our first-hand report from Captain Temo Verboonen sounded almost like a summer season hurricane report. It was a short report and not very exciting. "Ocean rough, no boats fishing, next week is the International Fishing Tournament for Sailfish". Sure not too much to "write home about"

IZ Climate: A sun/cloud mix with warm days and evenings. Air temps stable at 69 nights to 92 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Water temps are stable at 86 inshore and rising to 88 offshore. Blue water starts at about 8-10 miles and beyond. Windy conditions were letting up and the boats should be back to fishing by the weekend with very light surface breezes from calm to 11 mph, flowing mostly from the southwest directions in the forecast.
