) Surface temperatures have increased to 60??F. Anglers report catching bass with worms over on the west side of the pond. Bass fishing should improve as the water warms. Other anglers report slow trout fishing near the fishing piers. Bountiful Pond is hosting the Bountiful City youth fishing club -- they meet Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. until May 20. These clubs offer families a great opportunity to learn about fish and how to catch them from knowledgeable and friendly volunteers.
