Avid angler Kevin reported that the water level is down a foot from last weekend, and the water is pretty cloudy. The rainbow trout have gone to deeper water because of the warmer weather, so add some length between your float and PowerBait. If you prefer to use lures, try using a bright color that dives between three and six feet. Kevin used a yellow crawfish crank bait and reported fair fishign. He had a few trout hitt smaller bass cranks. The largemouth have started to spawn, so it will be more difficult to catch them now. Most anglers visit the reservoir on the weekends.
