Anglers report fair to good fishing for rainbows, browns and walleye from the shore or a boat. Bass are just starting to show as some of the larger spawners move into the shallows. Use caution during afternoon winds because they can generate large waves quickly. The state park is adding a number of improvements to the campgrounds and facilities.
