The Salmon bite continues to be good straight out of Santa Cruz and near the black buoy. The scores ranged from 2-6 fish a boat trolling 40-130 feet down. The best bet was Blue kajikis and Red Krippled Anchovies. The water was nice all day and in the afternoon there were fish as big as 40 pounds caught. The Albacore are still around near the Guide and the 601 at 36'41/122'59 and 37'00/122'55. The scores ranged from 7-9 fish a boat in 10 - 15 knots winds. The Halibut are still being picked up near the Lighthouse and the Harbor. There were some nice Seabass caught today for the anglers who went looking early in the morning. The Rockcod fishing is still going good. The weather looks good for a few more days so come enjoy the fishing.
