While the year end billfish bite slowed up this past week or so, the dorado bite continues to create excellent action for most all of the boats. Even better, is the fish are all in the quality size ranges and probably will average 25 lbs. Adding to the mix of fishing fun is the fair amount of wahoo being landed. High billfish boat for the week was the "Tuna Time", skippered by Captain Roberto Marquez, landing & releasing 4 stripers for 3 days fished. He additionally had 1 wahoo and 8 dorado in the 3-days catch. The overall yearend fish report for a total of 44 days reflected 17 stripers, (15 released) 16 wahoo, 2 skipjack tuna and 132 dorado. It was a terrific fishing week and a great way to move into the New Year.
