The reservoir is capped under four to five inches of good ice, and more people have been out fishing. Anglers report good success throughout the day but especially in the afternoon hours. They are using small jigs tipped with mealworms or ice flies to catch bluegill and trout. The fish are mainly biting near the bottom but can be caught throughout the water column. Daytime temperatures have been heating up, which can melt the ice very quickly. Please use extreme caution and common sense when venturing out.
