On Feb. 9, the ice was completely melted. Fishing continues to be very good, even with the heavy angling pressure. Anglers are still catching brood stock trout. Try fishing immediately around the inlet. Typically the trout cruise the shoreline so you don't have to cast very far. They are biting on worms, woolly buggers and white paddle bugs. Anglers are also having success catching eight- to ten-inch rainbow trout throughout the rest of the reservoir on worms and PowerBait. Remember that the daily limit for this and all other community waters is two fish per person, per day.
