The fishing for Albacore was decent for most of the anglers who ran out 30 miles from Santa Cruz. I fished from 36'38/122'26 to 36'36/122'30 and ended up with 5 fish. We caught 2 on the troll and 3 on live bait. The best bet was to troll in the morning and look for jumpers and cast live bait as you came into them. Anglers also did well casting Fish Traps and Mega Baits. The water was flat calm all day long and the swell died through the day. It looks like things will stay calm for the next few days.
