The fishing for Albacore was the same today for the few anglers who went out. The best numbers were near 36'34/122'32. The water is still flat and looks to be that way for a few more days. Saturday things could change so come fishing now!

The fishing for Albacore was decent for most of the anglers who ran out 30 miles from Santa Cruz. I fished from 36'38/122'26 to 36'36/122'30 and ended up with 5 fish. We caught 2 on the troll and 3 on live bait. The best bet was to troll in the morning and look for jumpers and cast live bait as you came into them.
