Despite recent colder temperatures, the reservoir remains completely open. The ice is gone. The water is fairly clear, and there's about four feet of visibility. Angling pressure continues to be very light, even on the weekends. We stocked the reservoir with 5,000 nine-inch trout on Feb. 19. The next stocking will be sometime this fall. You may use a non-motorized canoe, kayak, float tube or kick boat on this waterbody. Don't forget to obtain your Walk-in Access authorization number before visiting the reservoir.
