ishing continues to be hot. Trolling Rapalas and Jakes lures works very well. Shore anglers have also been catching fish using PowerBait, worms and a marshmallow/worm combo. Local angler Dallas Ware had a good time fishing from shore with two friends. Two of the three boys caught their limits of rainbow trout -- the other person in their party caught three trout using PowerBait from shore. Please remember that if you are going to launch any boat at East Canyon, you must complete a quagga mussel self-certification form and place it on your dashboard. If you don't have the completed form on your dashboard, you will receive a citation. If no one is at the gate when you arrive, just drive down to the boat ramp and pull a blank quagga self-certification form out of the mailbox that's under the big quagga mussel sign.
