Pelican Lake Fish Report

Anglers report fair fishing. With recent temperature fluctuations, fishing success changes daily. A few consecutive days of warm weather will bring the bass back into the shallow water. Bluegill are still deep. With the shallow waters warming up, it's a good time to target carp. Removal of carp before they spawn (by either archery or fishing tackle) will help the water quality. Better water quality will help both the bass and bluegill populations. Water levels look good; the lake is mostly full.
