On April 14, the Blacksmith Fork was experiencing spring-runoff conditions, but fishing continues to be good throughout the river. Nymphing seems to have been effective for most anglers. They specifically reported success with blue-winged olive caddis flies, pale morning duns and standard nymphs (Prince and caddis larvae). Many thanks to Clayton Winter for the report.
