Anglers report fair to excellent fishing. Recent rain, winds and cold nights might slow fishing down some, but a couple days of warmer weather will attract the bass and bluegill back to the shallows. Bluegills are moving into the warmer shallows and are now reachable from shore. With the shallow waters warming up, now is a good time to target carp. Removal of carp by archery or fishing tackle will help the water quality and the growth of the bass and bluegill. The lake is full. A tagged carp contest started May 1, 2015. Contact Sportsman's Warehouse in Vernal for details.
